Good lord, this is absolutely nuts. In my heart of hearts, the Mets are finished. The fight is out of them and the Phils have the momentum going for them. The NL West? I don't know what the hell is going on there, it's that tight. Despite that, I'm going with Rollins. The man said in Spring Training that Philadelphia was the team to beat, and damned if he ain't making everyone eat crow for calling him a hot dog. Oh yeah, he's got some good stats, too.

Rollins ... unless Wright singlehandedly puts the Mets past 'em by Sunday.

Also, out of respect, please add Byrnes and subtract Tulowitzki.

Well, as much as I want Byrnes to win, you can't overlook Rollins, and the Phils' incredible run.

Plus, hasn't Rollins scored something like 140 runs? That's fucking insane.

So, my top 3 are Rollins, Byrnes, Wright.

Byrnes has had a nice year but have you seen Tulowitzki play he is amazing. He does belong on the list but clearly he will not win it. He has had an amazing year and playing a premier position and at Gold Glove and Sliver Slugger caliber play.

He does not belong there, and he will not win the Silver Slugger. Ever hear of guys named Rollins and Reyes? He won't even win ROY.

How can you subtract Tulo from the conversation? He's really stepped up at the plate, plus his defense is Gold Glove-worthy... if there wasn't Omar Vizquel to snatch it up purely on reputation.

I've got to vote for Rollins. What he's done physically and emotionally for the Phils this year is amazing. He willed them to the lead in the East.
