12 minutes for Leon Powe...7 points, 5 offensive rebounds, 2 defensive rebounds, 2 charges taken. And I'm just waiting for Doc to fork with his minutes some more.

Cassell's having his best game of the series too thus far. He's actually passing the ball a little.
Even with the victory, you can tell there's a chink in Bostonbred's armor as well. No mention of KG's unmatched desire, intensity and male potency. No talk of Rondo's magical transformation and nary a compliment for Rivers!
Don't let it get to you, bb ... hang tough!
I didn't want to let you down rube...

Rondo played a heck of a game. In the series, I beleive he has 40 assists and 4 turnovers. Doc did a much better job distrubuting minutes, his biggest weakness. The Big Three did what they were supposed to do - Pierce scored and led the team when they needed it, Ray Allen drained a handful of huge 3-pointers, and KG's intensity and defensive presence helped limit ATL's offense. Now they need to take it to Atlanta on the road and wrap it up.
MUCH better.

Pistons nuking the Sixers off the court. 30+ margin with 6:00 left.

So much for the Sixers. They nearly had me believing in Game 4 that they could win that series.

LeBron an assist and three boards away from a triple-double and the third's not over yet.

The Cavs have gotten HUGE efforts from Gibson and Szczerbiak so far, not to mention LeBron's showing. Those are the games they simply can not afford to lose.

Anybody think Eddie Jordan will actually run on the court and stab LeBron in the knee cap if the Wiz are down double digits with about five to go?

No, but I wouldn't put it past DeShawn Stevenson to do something stupid like that. That's why, if I'm Mike Brown and the Cavs are up near 20 around that point in the game, I pull LeBron.

Don't look now Beantown, here come your Hawks. Bibby looks to be getting in the flow finally, and if he's rolling, Atlanta can hang around.
I know certain posters on here want to have sex with Rajon Rondo, but like I said the other day, if Bibby plays like Bibby -- Atlanta can hang with Boston all day.

To compound on my Bibby comments, the guy needs to start scoring because Boston is just locking two on Johnson every time down and it's been extremely effective all night. Someone needs to step up and score to pull that double off or it's golf time for the Hawks.

think there are some puckered asses in the celtics locker room?

Why did they go for a three down by two with 20-some seconds left?

Why not go for the tie?

Also, if Rondo was a hall of famer, I'm guessing he would have gotten a better attempt off on that last-second heave.
