My dad has Dish and had Red Zone on a free trial for Weeks 1 and 2. I introduced it to him last week. This morning, he calls me freaking out, he wasn't aware it was only a two-week free trial.

And you don't even need RedZone on your home TV. Our cable provider doesn't offer it, but I get it using the NFL app on my Android.

Yeah, I'll amend that from Top 10. I was going team-by-team as well, thinking about it. The "number" has gone down, with Warner retiring, McNabb older and Tony Romo seen as overrated now. I'll agree with you there.

If Vick doesn't "blank it up", then he can be an elite QB again. However, he doesn't exactly have a history of 'keeping it together' for an entire season. I wonder NOW if in 2006, especially, whatever stress he might have had over the "dog killing operation" spilled over into his job. Looking back, I bet it did...

    Isn't this damning w/faint praise?

The QBs you consider worse than Vick:

    AFC EAST
Buffalo: Alternating between Ryan Fitzgerald and Trent Edwards. Combined arm strength about the same as ours.
    NYJ: 2nd-year starter in Sanchez
    Mia: 2nd-year starter in Henne

    AFC NORTH
    Cinc: Palmer is washed up
Balt: Flacco is in his third year and has gotten as far in the playoffs as Vick ever did. Not sure why you are so quick to dismiss him.
    Clev: Seneca Wallace/Jake Delhomme. Yeah.

    AFC SOUTH
Tenn: ANYONE WHO THINKS MICHAEL VICK IS BETTER THAN VINCE YOUNG IS STUPID AND A RACIST!!!!
Jax: David Garrard might lose his job to Todd Bouman

    AFC WEST
Denv: Kyle Orton. He's 29-19 as a starter and is in a situation now where his coach is taking off the shackles. Not so sure he's worse than Vick.
KC: Hope Cassel gave Belichick half his big contract.
Oak: Whomever Al Davis decides it is this week, no argument.

    NFC EAST
NYG: Eli Manning. He has a ring but he's terrible.
Wash: McNabb? You really think McNabb is worse than Vick?
Dal: Romo. I can be swayed either way.

    NFC NORTH
Minn: Favre. Not gonna touch this one.
Det: Hill/Stafford, love Stafford's upside but can't be argued right now.
Chi: JAY CUTLER IS THE BEST QUARTERBACK TO EVER LIVE!!!

    NFC SOUTH
    T. Bay: Freeman, no argument
Car: Spoiled twerp Claussen, no argument

    NFC WEST
    Arz: Derek Anderson, no argument
    SF: Alex Smith, no argument
Sea: Matt Hasselbeck, was better at his peak but is just about toast
St. L: Sam Bradford. Good upside, but no argument now

So really, given the shitty state of QBing in the NFL, doesn't Vick's spot among the top 12-15 (we can argue where he is in the 12-15 range) say less about him than it does about the lack of quality at the position he plays?

Except, he isn't in the 12 to 15 range - he is in the 5 to 8 range and yet he is treated by some people as if he is one of those shitty players you talked about.

He is a very good football player.

Does Josh McDaniels have money on the Colts?

What is with the Broncos refusing to take points in the red zone? They could be down a point instead of seven right now. Instead, they can't afford to let the Colts get a field goal on this drive.

Josh McDaniels is a f-ing idiot.

I'll defend going for it the first time. This second time? Kick it. You've got nine minutes and three timeouts left. Give yourself a chance.

He's a shitty human being and that clouds some people's perceptions.

5-8? Coming off what amounts to three years away from the game? No way. Maybe at some point in 2004-06, but not now. He's fattened up this year on one very good team (coming on in a relief role) and two horrendous ones. 12-15 is a fair assessment in September 2010.

Ya, let's see what he does against teams not in th bottom 5 of the league. The Lions and Jaguars are really fucking bad. They'll be lucky to win 5 games between them.

Will Dan Snyder go into Rat Shanahan's office and berate him for losing to the Rams, ala with Norv, Marty and Zorn?

Just because it must be said again: 3-0. Charlie Batch.
