Sometimes it isn't just what the opponent has, but when you catch them.

Yeah, exactly. You might have to put asterisks on their losses with Greg Roman being their OC.

Good job challenging this play, a key 1st and 10 play for a 3-yard gain in a 41-point game, you never know if that's the turning point.

I know. It still sucks, though.

Jets pissed that Steelers safety Mike Mitchell tried to hurdle the line to get at Mike Vick in victory formation. I get that, but it certainly wasn't as dirty as the shot Babin took at Roethlisberger's knees after a play had been blown dead.

Oh, I know it well. Ugly losses by your team can be frustrating, especially when it looks like that might be what keeps them from the playoffs.

The only thing left for the Bears tonight is to have a player blow out an ACL celebrating a play.

I think he is an essentially good QB, with flashes of brilliance. However, the Giants' offensive line stinks like a bag of assholes right now. I'm not sure any QB could do much with the protection he's gotten this season.

During the Giants' winning streak, Manning was getting protection, stepping into his throws and making plays. In most of their losses, the offensive line has been abused by the oppositions' front four, allowing defenses to keep seven guys in coverage. Even when Manning wasn't getting sacked, it was tough to find open receivers. When they have been open, everyone except Odell Beckham has been dropping the passes (Rueben Randle has been particularly brutal as the No. 1 option with Cruz out).

Today, Manning was playing well, but the Giants' defense appeared to wear down. As the Giants fell behind in the pouring rain, it was too tough to come back against a Seahawks defense that is improving.

It doesn't help that the Giants can't run the ball for shit.

Manning is a good quarterback. He's also one of only two playmakers on the damn team right now.

And, unlike his brother or Brady, he's not the type of guy who can drag an 8-win team to 12 wins. At best, he could drag an 8-win team to nine or 10 wins. This Giants team, with their O-line in shambles, no Cruz, a horrible linebacking corps and a sieve of a secondary, is a 6-win team.

I wear on folks like a virus.
From nuisance to mild inconvenience to hey-he's-not-the-biggest-piece-of-shit-in-the-world.
I do not start these fights. I will finish them, though.

    The Bears are fucked.

They need to find a way to get rid of Cutler this off-season. With that contract, I don't think they'd find any takers. Never count out the Raiders, they were stupid enough to trade for Schaub, but I don't think the Raiders are that stupid.

If I was the Bears I would draft a QB in the first round and let Cutler rot on the bench until they can cut him, similar to what the Jets did to Sanchez.
