Glad the Eagles lost because I was wary of the Ravens given:

    1. Holiday game, I recall Ravens won fiesta Thanksgiving game between the bros; and
    2. 49ers do worse against running QBs.

That loss came on a short week, and the 49ers even had one less day of prep since they had to fly to Baltimore. That and I had the duty that night, the office didn't have NFLN and, no offense to CFB fans, watching the Egg Bowl wasn't the same.

Still, there's something about this year's 49ers ... when all cylinders are clicking on both sides of the ball, they're amazing to watch. Yet, they sill fly under the national radar somehow.

Half the league has been on the brink of playoff elimination for the last month - and enough of them have lost to keep them in sniffing distance. Such a weird year. The QB absences have been a huge part of it, but it isn't just winning one week against a good team and losing the next to a bad team - in general. Its teams have "looked" awful one week and like world-beaters the next.
More than in past seasons, I've sensed there are locker-room "issues" with more than a handful of teams. Raiders and Chargers (pre-firing), Panthers, Bills, Eagles, and Steelers off the top of my head.

I live on the eastiest part of the East Coast, and I assure you the 49ers get their share of attention and then some in media both national and local.

I thought this said the Legend of the Christmas Ramen and was briefly excited about a new noodle dish.

Monday night's game will be ABC only since ESPN is broadcasting all the Christmas Day NBA games. Which means that ABC has a Monday Night game all to itself without another game on ESPN on the same night for the first time since Patriots-Jets on Dec. 26, 2005.

Means little in the grand scheme of things, but still warms my heart.

I agree. I'm wary mostly because the Ravens might be the best defense they've faced of the year, with a hat tip to Cleveland.

I'm less worried about mobile quarterbacks because the three QBs to get them this year were PJ Walker (and he didn't have a great game), Kirk Cousins and Joe Burrow. Burrow had the best rushing game with less than 50 yards. When they faced mobile QBs (Hurts, Prescott [to an extent], Murray and Dobbs), they dominated.

What the Niners have going for them is they score points in bunches and the game is at the Vi. I am worried about injuries, which are piling up on the defense.

Changed. It's on ESPN+ too, thus my confusion.

A Christmas miracle...especially if he gets to see some action.
