Here's the the thing about COVID-19 - and the mindset for America, and sports - you get through a week, two, three - maybe a month. The odds only get shorter that you will be impacted, not longer. That people have a tendency to "relax" with no positive tests, only makes it even more likely.

So this was spread after the game? At a party?

If 20 Vikings test positive this weekend... well...

And if 10-15 Titans test positive this weekend and zero Steelers do, is the game played or do the Titans forfeit the game?

Isnt' this why they have expanded practice squads? If people start testing positive, they bring up the extras so they can play the game?

What the hell is the difference between playing Sunday and playing Monday? That's absurd.

They can do that if it remains just four players, but if more positive tests keep popping up, they are going to have to postpone even further to ensure that the Titans don't spread it to another team.

I do wonder what happens if they reschedule for Monday, then more Titans test positive Sunday or Monday. I'm guessing the league will do everything possible to avoid a forfeit, but at that point I'm not sure what choice they will have. If the Steelers make the trip an the Titans can't put a team out there, rescheduling again really screws Pittsburgh.

One difference is if the Titans are able to get back to work Saturday, they would be able to get in a practice and a walk-through. It also allows another day of testing. It is possible that more Titans have been infected, but the tests haven't caught them all yet.

It is really dumb they didn't have a contingency for this. They could 1) re-arrange bye-weeks for make ups 2) have affected teams play each others opponents 3) shortened the season to 14 or 15 games and had a buffer week or two in case they needed to make something up.

It isn't like no one could have predicted this. Hell, baseball was having this problem in August.
