NFL Wild-Card Weekend thread

Funny but I was watching the entire broadcast of Super Bowl 13 yesterday on YouTube between the Cowboys and the Steelers (because why the heck not), and in addition to being up till then the best SB (as the announcers declared), Curt Gowdy kept referring occasionally to the quarters as periods, which you never hear nowadays. It was striking to me how different broadcasts are. Like, they didn't show the stadium or the fans hardly at all, it was all about the game, and the freaking thing moved. The ads were a hoot too, especially Barney Miller touting a car for its length and width lol.

I saw The Drive on Twitter the other day (37th anniversary). It was so pure and QUIET. Do we know a turning point for when broadcasts became so noisy? I sorta feel like it had to be around the time the Super Bowl halftime show became A Thing (MJ in '93 or '94) but that's just random dot connecting.

Bills Mafia are pussies. Kidding aside, it does look like Buffalo is gonna get creamed with this storm. Whatever advantage Pitt might have gained in the snow is probably now gone. The line probably just jumped to -13.

I thought I was the Debbie Downer? :)

Seriously, the Bills have played in blizzards before. I can't say I love it, especially after NY Gov. Kathy Hochul posted a message trash-talking Steelers fans and suggesting they stay home, but it is tough to argue looking at how bad the weather is going to be.

Ravens screwed too. They lose 24 hours of preparation before the Steelers beat them again.
