Nick Capena marks 50 years in San Diego

    Enjoyed reading his columns when I moved to San Diego in 1990, and enjoyed working with him at the U-T when I was there in the mid-90s.
    Congrats on a great run that's still going. I can't even imagine anyone staying 50 years at a newspaper anymore.

    Sorry I couldn't access this either. I covered many a Chiefs-Chargers games and Super Bowls with Nick and served on Pro Football Hall of Fame selection committee with him. Would have liked to have read this. Always loved his style.
