    Tanaka decides not to opt out, so he'll be with the Yankees another three years.

    Smart move. Great postseason, but he was mediocre in the regular season. And with the elbow he never had surgery on, I'm guessing no other team was going to give him $67 million for three years.

    Masahiro Tanaka opts in, will stay with Yankees for three seasons

    Awards finalists are being announced on MLB Network.

    All six ROY finalists are position players, although I'm guessing Judge and Bellinger will be unanimous. Manicini and Benintendi and Bell and DeJong are the other finalists.

    All three NL manager finalists are from the West: Roberts, Lovullo and Black. AL finalists are Molitor, Tito and Hinch.

    Cy Young: Kershaw, Strasburg and Scherzer and Severino, Sale and Kluber.
