One night in Philly

If you had one night to spend in Philly, how would you spend it?

Me and a crew are headed to Jersey via Philly (airport) and we're going to stay the night in Philly. What say you?

 

Jim's Steaks, then Monk's Cafe (if you would like to try really, really good craft beer).

Ya seen one crowded, polluted, stinkin' town ...

 

If three_bags_full was going to Philly by himself, I think Delilah's might be an option. However, CPT three_bags_full probably shouldn't take two Soldiers to a titty bar, no matter how high class.

We'll knock out the tourist stuff and grab a cheesesteak that afternoon after we arrive, but we'll want to unwind somewhere over a decent meal (not too pricey) and a beer that evening.

We'll be headed over toward Toms River the next morning.

 

I'm absolutely, 100 percent down with that. We'll be there Tuesday afternoon.

 

I ate at a place right next to Jim's once. Copabananas or some shit like that. Anyway, they had a damn fine avacado burger with salsa. Excellent. Was headed to Jim's, but the line was way too long at that point.

 

But you could only eat half of it, right?

 

I thought for sure this was going to be another one of drip's story threads. Something about being shot at by Marvin Harrison as he flees with Smokin' Joe Frazier, Dr. J. and Pete Rose's bookie.

 

First, to be accurate, I ate roughly 95 percent of the food in question. Second, no. I pummeled the entire burger in like 18 seconds. It was that good.
