Inside Lacrosse is looking for an experienced journalist to fill the role of Online Editor for our organization, based in Baltimore, Maryland. The position will be primarily focused on the daily upkeep of InsideLacrosse.com and its related online entities (Blogs.InsideLacrosse.com, NLLInsider.com, LacrosseForums.com), but will also involve writing and editing for Inside Lacrosse Magazine and Face-Off Yearbook as well as participating in podcasts and online video programming.

The job requires experience in reporting and writing, copy editing and online publishing. Knowledge of programs such as photoshop and In Design are a plus, as is familiarity with HTML. Experience playing or reporting on the sport of lacrosse is a plus, but not required for consideration. The ideal candidate will be a self-starter who is willing to bring plenty of ideas to the table, as IL is a young, growing company and we value creative, ambitious people that are full of ideas on how to constantly improve what we’re doing.

Inside Lacrosse is the leading media company for the sport, and InsideLacrosse.com has drawn over 3 million unique visitors since the start of 2009. InsideLacrosse.com covers every facet of the sport, from high school to pro indoor and outdoor and college to industry news. IL is the online lacrosse partner of ESPN.com.

Please send resume, clips and a cover letter to Online Manager Sean Burns at sburns@insidelacrosse.com
