The ladyfriend is dropping more and more hints about wanting one.

I hate owning anything trendy, except maybe once every five years when I buy a iPhone around the time it comes out. But from my research, it’s more than just a bunch of Spandex-wearing yuppies riding while some rando screams at them online — there are other classes, too. And $39 for a household membership is fairly reasonable.

I’d love to see what current owners think. The frugal side of me has considered buying one second-hand, and there seem to be a few out there.

I do not have one myself - but a few friends of mine do, and they just rave about it.

Do it. Well worth the investment, especially if you have any kind of competitive streak in you. It does a good challenging you to keep improving and using it often.

I have one. And while I am not as obsessed with it as many are, I am 300+ rides inane I can honestly say it’s the best physical fitness investment I have ever made.

Word of warning: 3-4 months shipping delays are very real so you won’t have yours till the middle of summer at best.

My brother and his wife use the heck out of theirs. Another option would be to get a really good indoor cycling bike, like a Greg LeMond model. I had one for years and rode it like mad, and while it didn't have a screen or anything I just put on one of the hundreds of great cycling videos on YouTube in which a cyclist put a GoPro on the front of their bike and rode for an hour through Italy or France or a ton of other gorgeous places.
