I find it hilarious that MSU just ripped the quiz off of the Internet - didn't contract for the content at all.

A third party independent contractor. Similar to Brenda Tracy in fact.

Maybe the athletic department officials responsible for the video displays had their hands full with something else and couldn't really get a good grip on the situation.

Worse, they’re going to make it up to the Jewish community by making them come to another football game.

Mass email tonight at 6:33 pm:

Not signed by any individual member of the board

"The board" does not "speak" with individual university employees, although individual board members may do so.

"The board" does not "feel" anything, unless it is by majority vote. Although individual board members may and hopefully do hold these opinions, unless and until the board adopts official positions to that effect it is premature to issue such statements.

Presumably the executives named are on official termination notice.

"The board" cannot "speak," adopt positions or issue directives to university personnel except at regularly scheduled meetings:

Meetings | Board of Trustees | Michigan State University

Any informal or unscheduled meetings by quorum groups of trustees by electronic means or at public events (such as football games) are subject to FOIA disclosure provisions.

The next scheduled meeting is Friday.

Is there any sense whatsoever that there was truly malicious intent, versus some low-wage flunky or student intern committing the queen mother of all fuckups?

Big Gretch ought to come in and clean house. Then again, she could probably start for the Spartans if she still has eligibility left.

Also, Vassar opened at -14 against Michigan State next week.

Did anyone mention this week that Mel Tucker is a dumb motherfucker?

Perhaps not as dumb as the other motherfuckers on that campus.

You wonder how a major university can make mistake after mistake and really take a hit in its national image - my guess is a really crappy board of trustees.
