Well, that's pretty damn interesting. I just may send that man some money.

Now this is interesting. The Bush's do have a vast financial network, I'd be surprised if Patrick could match it.

I don't know if you follow Dowd on Twitter. He seems to be a very decent man. Certainly leagues better than Patrick.

If the right republican tried to primary Patrick he might win. There are a lot of people who you would think are in his corner who see him as a clown.

He only won re-election by 400,000 votes in 2018. The February deep freeze and lack of action by the GOP since then has probably cost them that many votes already.

Abbott's a different story since he won last time by more than a million votes but it would not be shocking if they both ended up losing

I've been following this a little. All the RWNJs are screaming "freedom of speech!"
    1. In the military, you don't publicly criticize the chain of command.
    2. He did and was relieved of his post, which is natural.
    3. He was given a direct order to not post on social media, which he did anyway.

That's why he's in the brig and in trouble. The original post criticizing the withdrawal is not what got him locked up.

Did a load of good for the Bush brown grandchild who had his ass kicked despite pledging fealty to the second coming.

I know its a little thing that probably doesn't get noticed unless pointed out -- but in the congressional baseball game, apparently the tradition has been for each side to wear the uniform of the team closest to them to show representation for their constituents, minor or major league. Democrats had that setup this year while the GOP were in matching all-red unis.

Well, this paragraph is loaded up with butter, chives, sour cream and bacon bits:

Also at the dinner in Las Vegas was Gov. Kristi Noem of South Dakota, whom Mr. Lewandowski has been advising for many months. Ms. Noem’s aides have not yet commented on whether Mr. Lewandowski will remain an adviser to her.

What's the old saying? The Marines exist to defend free speech, not to practice it.
