    15. Trying to recreate the WWF-WCW feud (DX vs. NWO) with that lame VKM gimmick. Just drop it. It's tired. It's not new. It SUCKS.

I have to defend Kevin Nash at this point. He's helping Austin Starr and Alex Shelley with his star power, and usually his promos are the funniest things in wrestling during any given week (like kicking Johnny Devine out of the Paparazzis because he edited German snuff films -- or maybe because he wouldn't. I forget. But it was funny). Plus he's not wrestling, which means he can't kill anyone's push with bad selling.

What star power? I know Nash is sometimes funny, but he's a has been.

Well, star power in relative terms to what TNA has to offer. He's a bigger name than most of the active roster (Angle, Joe, Sting, maaaaaybe Christian). Besides, even if it's just reflected light from Nash, Shelley and Starr have a distinct character that, let's face it, most of the X Division roster sorely lacks.

    From Meltzer's notebook:

    From the Civic Arena's website:

I offer no editorial comments. Just stating facts. That is all.

I wouldn't say Nash is bigger than Sting and Angle. Nash had his good days as Diesel and with the nWo. Vinny Vegas just wasn't a good fit for him in his early days.

Why isn't he wrestling on TNA? Was he injured?

And HB, that's hilarious. 1,700 tickets? Damn.

I meant that they were the only ones you could say bigger than Nash at this point (possibly Jarrett when he returns).

Not sure why he's not wrestling. He missed a PPV with a heart scare a few months ago, though if you read between the lines, it may be more of a jobbing scare. I guess they figure he'll do the most good by just talking (good) and not wrestling (sucks).

OK. I get what you're saying now.

Kevin Nash is a decent talker. He should stay the hell away from a wrestling ring. Forever!

I guess, too, since he's back in TNA, Hollywood hasn't been calling him at all, huh?

    Nash is a 6-10, not 7-foot, stiff.

    Wow.

I watched Impact tonight and only two words could possibly describe it: It sucked.

There was like 15 minutes of wrestling, total, and 3 hours of programming crammed into one hour. The new backstage interviewer is awful. They gave two minutes to a Shelley/Starr vs. Hoyt/Truth. Two minutes to Jay Lethal vs. Chris Sabin vs. Sonjay Dutt. Unbelievable.

And AJ Styles is great in the ring, but he should stick to that. Dude is awful on the stick, even with the new attitude.

Although I really do like the VKM stuff. I laughed pretty hard at it (and at the fact that they "accepted" the open challenge of the Hardys for December to Dismember).
