I agree on Mr. Kennedy. They should not, however, put him with this stupid MVP guy and especially not against Kane and Undertaker.

The reuniting of the K/U team should be on a PPV, not on free TV. How about them vs. DX or Edge/Orton. At Survivor Series perhaps?

    Cyber Sunday:

Booker T retains against Cena and Big Show with an assist from Kevin Federline. Yeah, that loser.
    Hardy retains, beating Carlito
Lita wins title, defeating Mickie James with the other divas surrounding the ring
Orton/Edge defeat DX with Bischoff as ref
Flair and Piper win tag titles over Spirit Squad (expect the new champs to lose ASAP)
    Umaga over Kane
Cryme Tyme wins 4-team Tag Team Tornado match

You've got to love WWE/McMahon logic. Build up a pair of OVW prospects as black thugs, then to blunt accusations of racism, cast them as faces. You can't pull lying, cheating and stealing as an adorable trait off unless you're Eddie Guerrero or Bender. And if you're Bender, how did you make it to our world? And if you're Eddie, how did you get out of the coffin?

Kevin Federline, sadly, is the most over heel WWE has right now. Although I attribute that more to Federline being so horribly unlikable that he makes people cheer for Cena. That's more than Edge could do.

Lita's contract expires next month, so I'm guessing that Mickie will win the title soon, possibly as soon as a Raw rematch on Monday.

Sounds like a perfectly blah PPV.

Boy, that sounds like a crappy-ass PPV. Not one of those is a surprise. You knew whoever's championship title was up for grabs was going to win the Cena/Booker/Big Show match.

Hardy winning isn't a surprise, but neither would Carlito winning have been. That's a fine match, but frankly, all those RAW mid-card guys (Hardy, Carlito, Shelton Benjamin, Masters, etc) seem pretty interchangeable in my eye.

Lita's win was entirely predictable, as is her losing the title on RAW. The only question is how, exactly, her and Edge will end up breaking up, because I'm fairly certain they will.

Orton/Edge winning was predictable, to help set up this feud for the long haul (D/X is already established, so they're setting up Orton/Edge as a legit foe for them).

Spirit Squad is on its way to breaking up, so that was as obvious as it could have been.

Umaga's "winning streak" was not going to end against any of those three potential foes -- they're saving that first loss for something bigger than Cyber Sunday.

And Cryme Tyme, the newest tag team, was a given. In fact, I'd bet they're the ones who will take the tag titles from the Geriatric Duo, and soon. And then begin a feud with somebody like the Highlanders.

Same ol' shit. And yet I still watch...

Tag team wrestling is shitsville, at least as WWE goes. Cryme Time isn't very good, but they have a somewhat interesting gimmick. The Spirit Squad is overplayed to the hilt and breaking up three-five months after they should have. The Highlanders have already been marginalized. Why are Charlie Haas and Viscera still together? (and why does Lilian Garcia not sell her entanglements with both when she announces their names?) Cade/Murdoch is the best of the bunch, but they've been pigenholed as lightweight competition. Apparently Paul London and Brian Kendrick have some sort of hooligan gimmick, but nobody cares about tag teams on Smackdown. The Pitbulls would have been okay, but Kid Kash was fired for being Kid Kash. I don't think I could tell Idol Stevens from K.C. James if a bottle of Grey Goose was riding on it.

Contrast this with TNA: LAX is the hottest gimmick in wrestling, Styles/Daniels was a fun team (even though they're probably splitting), the Naturals are at least somewhat interesting with Shane Douglas as their manager, America's Most Wanted is steady and Gail Kim is hot. I could stand to not see the Dudleys until Bubba Brother Ray loses a Spike Dudley Runt of weight, I'm not convinced the Flock v3.0 is the way to go for Kazarian and Maverick Matt, and the James Gang is so old, they're resorting to 2000-style shoot promos in a last-ditch stab at relevancy, but even so, TNA's in a lot better shape.

Does Federline think he's going to raise sales of his CD with a heel turn on RAW?

It was reported somewhere, perhaps by Meltzer, that he was making $15,000 per appearance on Raw (the PPV was his third appearance). As long as he keeps doing this, Mr. Spears' wife won't have to buy as many albums. He has his OWN money to buy his album.

K-Fed and Britney have divorced. I guess K-Fed's got to get a full-time gig with WWE now.

Please don't let it be so!

  10. I smell a David Arquette-style title change.

Oh, and the latest Raw was possibly the worst 2 hour wrestling show I've ever seen. Very close to abandoning McMahonopoly all together.

And now it seems they've put together a Survivor Series match putting DX, the Hardys and CM Punk on the same team. Gee, wonder who'll be the last men standing? You just know it'll end up DX against a heel team with a numbers advantage.

Raw was horrible. That made me question why I ever bothered watching wrestling. They had the potential for Bischoff as an outsider, selling a book that announces the emperor has new clothes. Instead, he becomes the 125th heel commissioner in WWE and reprising a role he held a few years ago. What the fuck ever.

TNA spoilers make me ... I dunno. Some things I find awesome, others a little puzzling and one just really stupid.

WWE has always supported the troops with shows, etc.

With the political landscape what it is now after the election, do you think WWE tries to capitalize on it or not?

Sgt. Slaughter gets a beatdown? Hacksaw Duggan already got his on Monday (read reviews of Raw, thank GOD I didn't sit through two hours of that drivel!)
