    I've seen a couple of boards where you have to wait a minute between each post. It's a policy designed to discourage spam, and it might be something to look into for this board to discourage folks such as Harrison Ford. By the way, I'm also getting PMs from the guy and the PMs have the same links and photos. His account definitely needs to be killed and his posts erased from the archives.

    Problem is that his postings aren't unique to just this particular site, but pretty much every message board with this particular software. So mechanicalengineers.com or volleyballplayersfromtheclassof'62.com could have the exact same posts if they have the same message board design as this one. This starts way over webby's head and trickles down just far enough to cause an enormous headache.

    The proliferation of spam is not just on these sites but also on a lot of vbulletin message boards. One of my softball sites is getting spammed daily and another one was hacked recently.
    But keep this thread at the top for everyone to see.

    As much as they care, I can't see anyone calling one of the moderators at 3:30 in the morning because of that. You damn well better believe I'm not gonna rouse them from bed over this, knowing it'll get taken care of soon enough. Besides, and I'm no small fry, but Moddy would whoop my ass the next time he saw me.

    Because if I'm Moddy, and someone calls me at 3:30 in the morning for shit about my actual JOB, there's still a better-than-even chance I'll be pissed.

    Someone calls me at 3:30 in the morning for some goddamn spam? You best have blocked your number from my caller ID.

    My wife was getting her lunch packed for work and happened to look at the computer screen when i checked my PMs this morning.

    I don't hear her use the word much, but she let out the sentence: "What the FUCK is that?"

    It was awfully hard to explain an Asian man's giant dong at 7 a.m.
