    Steve Harvey has brought back a bit of the Dawson spirit of goodnaturedly busting on contestants and playing to the crowd. Combs was awful, O'Hurley and Karn were vanilla and serviceable, and Anderson made me laugh was his "yeah, I'm slumming it for the paycheck" attitude

    Y'know, I've caught Harvey doing this a few times, and I honestly believe he's a good choice for the show, and he's doing it about as well as he could do it.

    And still, it just feels like a weak imitation of the Dawson days.

    I got my wife a boxed DVD of the Feud as a part-joke Christmas gift, but we can't watch it because every time they show and answer and that bell rings the dog goes nuts.

    A lot of the classic Match Game panel has died within the last couple years or so, right?

    I remember watching it when I was a kid. Obviously, I didn't get about 99 percent of the jokes back then. What a show.
