    My first autographed card as a kid was from Ed Kranepool. Saw him at a card show when I was 7 or 8.

    Played for them in 1962 and seemingly was there forever. RIP

    Saw him play in Buffalo when they were a Mets affiliate.

    RIP to a Mets' icon.
