    Rex Huppke at the Chicago Tribune writes the obituary for "Facts" in the wake of Allen West's claim that there are communists in Congress. It is definitely worth reading.

    Loved this.

    Facts is survived by two brothers, Rumor and Innuendo, and a sister, Emphatic Assertion.

    Services are alleged to be private. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that mourners make a donation to their favorite super PAC.

    And, on a serious note, the whole episode demonstrates the power of the Internet given how quickly West's comments were condemned.

    Hey I don't mean to come off flip but I knew Facts and he was a good guy and all but he just seemed out of place. Rumor and Innuendo are more in tune with today's world.
