    Wow a forgotten name from the golden 70s past. RIP.

    Fascinating guy. Private eye, movie actor (supposedly), zoo owner. One of those larger than life characters you come across, a combination of real adventures and made-up stories that sound like they could have happened.

    Reminds me of Mel Larson, former NASCAR driver/promoter and PR guy for the Circus Circus casino, who owned a private helicopter and helped rescue people from the MGM Grand fire. He definitely had exotic hobbies and strange tales. I spent an afternoon at his house and came away with more questions than answers.
