You may not know the name, but you've definitely seen him somewhere. He played Tom Cruise's dad in "Risky Business," Robert Downey's dad in "Less Than Zero," the husband who had the second cup of coffee in "Airplane!," and, in a role hardly anyone but me would remember, the coach of Dr. J -- er, Moses Guthrie's -- Pittsburgh Pisces in "The Fish That Saved Pittsburgh." The media outlets seem to remember him mostly for his time on "General Hospital," but he was a guest star, recurring star, or supporting star in too many TV shows and movies to mention.

Joel, do you hear something odd? Something unpleasant? A preponderance of bass perhaps?
