Just got word that @Waldo9939 passed a few hours ago after a massive stroke. He's been a member since 2003 here, so in case you didn't know him "IRL," I wanted to pass this info along. We weren't close, but we worked at the same paper at different times and had been in contact via here and on social media.
On April 5 he posted on Facebook that he had been sick for a week and found out he had pneumonia. It just got worse from there which led to this this evening where I just got home and saw this info.

    RIP Donn

    RIP, Waldo.

Is it OK for us to know his real name now that he has passed?

I somehow missed this earlier. It always shocking when someone here passes away -- like, that can't happen; the real world can't come here. But it can, and does.

RIP Waldo9939. My condolences go to Donn Walden's family.
