FYI: The ESPN story is simply a new graf on the presser added to the top of the same story that's been up all day -- and appears to be inaccurate about head laceratrions and knee injuries.

Just talked to Cougardad, who believes that every Steeler should go into Ben Roethlisberger's hotel room tomorrow and say, "Thanks so much, you fool. You're the one we count on to make all of the money, and look where you are right now and what got you there."

While Dad is like the rest of the greater Pittsburgh region in that he lives and dies with the Steelers (he is, after all, from small-town Western PA), he didn't even say hello when he answered his cell phone, because he knew I was calling to talk about the Roethlisberger crash.
