A HUGE hold for Kenin in a five-deuce game to get to 4-2.

    Kenin seems drama free.

She'll be the old veteran in the final.

I will say Kenin really frustrated Kvitova today by finding a way to stay alive in points and make Kvitova hit the extra shot -- sometimes several extra shots. There was one point during which Kvitova had three chances that looked like clean putaways -- and Kenin somehow managed to return all three and finally came back with a winner.

Hey all, turn on your TVs now. Tsitsipas has come back from two sets down to tie it up and send the match to a fifth set. Could Djoker go down?

Iga Swiatek completes the greatest run of dominance in a Grand Slam in more than 30 years. Lost only 28 games in seven matches, fewest by any player without dropping a set since Steffi Graf in 1988. Graf in 1988 won the Golden Slam, of course (all four majors plus Olympic gold).

Chris Evert holds record for fewest games lost in a Grand Slam (12, 1976 U.S. Open).

Swiatek was really good today. Needs to work on her serve for sure, but she’s very athletic and seems to be very tough mentally— give that sports psychologist a raise. Her return game was fabulous.

I don’t know if Kenin’s injury was a factor. She didn’t move especially well throughout the match (moreso in the second set when she didn’t even try for several balls it seemed she could have gotten to), but I thought she played OK. Swiatek just played a level better.
