I was kinda underwhelmed but the first episode. It wasn’t bad. But a lot of scene setting.

I feel the same way. It isn't as good as The Mandalorian, which started strong and got even better in the second half of its second season, but maybe it just needs time to hit its stride. The episode had one big highlight for me, which I don't want to spoil here.

I’ve watched two episodes…I feel it would seem better if viewers hadn’t experienced how amazing The Mandalorian was.

I do enjoy the idea that we are seeing a lot of scenes through Fett’s eyes and ears. He doesn’t know what the hell is happening and neither does the viewer. There is no person explaining the story to us and him.

This definitely isn't what most fans wanted from a Boba Fett show. I think a lot of folks would've preferred something that delved deeper into his past and wasn't all post-sarlacc. Maybe some of that is coming later. They've done that stuff in the Legends canon, but a lot of folks only follow the movies and TV shows, and all the Legends stuff was thrown out anyhow.

I haven't missed Magary or any of his asshole buddies at their new pay site. Their sneering contempt for everything is tiresome.

I also think the greatness of The Mandalorian does this show no favors. Those artists set the bar pretty high. Would be hard even for Lawrence Kasdan, in his prime, to reach.

As I was telling my kid the other day, the Iggy scenes alone from Mando are better than anything from The Rise of Skywalker.

Those scenes charmed my nerdly heart.

I dont know, I just cant help but sit back and enjoy the ride. I thought this episode was pretty entertaining as long as you dont think too much.

However, the chase scene didnt do it for me. Just didnt seem like any of the vehicles were moving very fast.

I had the same thought. Also, is it me, or is the Boba Fett too...polite? It's annoying.

The little teaser at the end of the fourth episode gave me hope that things are about to get better.

I’m not a big fan, so I’m coming at it from a normie’s perspective. I thought it was enjoyable, although I’ll agree with the earlier comment that he seems too nice for his position. Looking forward to the other episodes.
