Ordered Arkham Asylum through Amazon's deal of the day last week. Got it for half price and I'm looking forward to checking it out when it arrives today or tomorrow.

There must be someone around here who's played it. What can I expect? All the video of it I watched online seemed lots of fun.

2010 World Cup hits shelves tomorrow. If anybody needs me, I'll be taking Scotland through qualification.

I know some of you, like me, are big EA Sports NHL fans, and this rumor is just awesome if true - the CHL may be included in NHL 2011.

It would be fantastic if this is true. I grew up in a small town with a WHL team and would love to play as them. Plus, this could add so much more depth to the Be A Pro mode.

I'm starting with the U.S., but I have plans to try to qualify with someone from every zone. Pretty fun so far. Got my ass kicked at Azteca, but when doesn't that happen to the Yanks?

That would be bad ass. I'd buy the game in an instant if it also includes NCAA teams.

Meanwhile, I bought FIFA World Cup today, the first time I've bought a video game on its first day in, like, well, ever. Still trying to take it all in.

I got off to a flying start, drawing Mexico 1-1 at Azteca. I drew only because I committed a dumb ass penalty in the box in the final 10 minutes.

Since then? Lost 1-0 to Guatemala and then drew Cuba and Trinidad. I hit the woodwork three times against T&T. Ugh. Must work on my offense.

    Great game though.

I don't like the change to how you take PKs in this new soccer game. Other than that, I'm pretty damn impressed with the improvements from FIFA 10 to this.

Hey folks: Any opinions/suggestions on a PS3 racing game? Do they not make NASCAR for PS3? Any of the others (Midnight Club, etc.) better than others? I need a two-player one, btw, and some of them aren't.

  10. So I've been thinking about buying a new 360. I'm on my second one (first one red-ringed) but it has no HDMI support. I plan on buying a new HDTV in the next couple of weeks and want the HDMI connection on the Xbox to get the best experience.

I'm looking at buying the newest Arcade bundle. I know that version doesn't come with the hard drive. But I'm assuming if I just attach my current hard drive to the Arcade version, I should be good to go?

You are correct. If you can afford it, go Elite. The larger hard drive is so worth it.

Anyone have an opinion one way or the other on whether or not I should pick up UFC 2010? I normally don't buy new release video games but I have a feeling I'm going to like this (loved the demo) and my plan is to pick it up, play the shit out of it, beat it and sell it used and hopefully get most of my money back.

    Thoughts?
