    Didn't see an AP story, haven't looked for any links, but we got a very generic statement from the Redskins (understandably):

    I was hoping his brushes with the law were a thing of the past, so I'm hoping he was just a random victim.

    A Miami-Dade detective taking to ESPN just said Taylor is in critical condition.

    ProFootballTalk.com says Taylor is "fighting for his life", per a source. The bullet severed his femoral artery.

    Heard on WTEM this morning that the Redskins' U of Miami crew met other 'Canes for a party in Florida the night before the Tampa Bay game....then Moss fumbles on the 1st play, Portis on the 3d, and Taylor gets shot...

    Not to minimize or be flippant about the Sean Taylor situation, but the Redskins did play as if there was a collective Hennessy Hangover.
