The Seattle Times, a family-owned news organization and one of the nation's premier regional news sources, is looking for a multiplatform sports desk editor to join our Pulitzer Prize-winning newsroom. As part of our team, you will ensure news-worthy content moves rapidly through initial draft to final product with accuracy, sense, fairness, inclusivity, grammar and style. You should be comfortable working under tight deadlines with ease while supporting multiple editors at once. Ideally, you have previous experience (and mastery) with both AP and local style.

Apply online at The Seattle Times | Careers

E-mail Sports Editor Paul Barrett at pbarrett@seattletimes.com with questions.

Sure. What's the problem with temporarily moving to one of the more expensive cities in the country?

I'm sure you wouldn't have to move temporarily. A computer, Internet connection and working basically 3-11 p.m. Pacific time are 3 keys.

PM me and I can give you more details.

If it’s remote, then my apologies for the snark.

I'll be spending the month of July in the Seattle area. Cool?
