I hear you. Mind games suck. Give me a straightforward girl who knows what she wants and doesn't want, and isn't afraid to say so.

That means the guy has to actually ask what the girl wants, listen to her answers, and follow those suggestions -- or offer some of his own. Does that happen in the real world?

And for as much crap as girls give guys for being 'dense' and not getting our 'hints', some girls are just as guilty. I've been treated like one of the guys for so long with most of my friends that if a guy, even after a date, said 'you're cool, let's hang out again' or some such thing, it wouldn't even phase me.

I'm still having trouble being out in the real world (i.e. not a news room) and adjusting to how people (i.e. women) operate and think.

They're so freakin' insecure and always trying to read between the lines. Astounds me sometimes.

Dunno how old you are, but if you're in your 20s, look for someone a little older. In my experience, older women tend to not put up with bullshirt as much -- unless, of course, they thrive on bullshirt, which many immature people do (of all ages).

I'm 23 ... which sadly is too young for most older women, so I have found. Even just a few years older, they think the age thing is a big deal. Personally, I just want to be with someone mature, whatever age.

I hear The Granny is into younger men, if you don't mind sharing. Not with me, the Grandpa.

Jeez, i go away for a few hours and some wonderful sj posters lay claim and someone suggests I should share Granny with Grandpa. Wow.

I'll buy you dinner if you tell me I'm pretty.

Holy shirt is this funny. I am seriously falling all over again for a woman I have known since I was 13. We have been IMing while working a lot. She doesn't live anywhere near me, though, so I am frustrated.
