I'm really excited for this. Now that I have word that I can def. go, I'm counting down the days. Putting in a few extra workouts too so I don't look like a fat slob. ;D

I've just sent out the request to JR over e-mail in response to the one he sent out with the helpful hints, but I was wondering if we could get a list of SportsJournalists.commers who are definitely in.

Just to kind of get a feel for the group.

That would be good. I did ask for such before, and JR was hesitant to do so at that time.

I mean, even if we don't post it here...just an e-mail to those of us who are going. I mean, we'll be there in 13 days. I will at least.

  8. Just don't let JJ drive you.

Don't let me drive you, either. My car might break down.

Just a few questions. I need to know where a good sushi eatery is, and where is the good shopping? I'm not talking about a mall, I'm talking about a boutique-type area where I will quickly realize that I have not lost enough weight to fit into the clothes.

Actually, any good eats would work. The only place I've found is Centro, and that looks a bit on the pricey side.

I have purchased two tickets (and will send HC money via paypal this weekend). I have a room.

I'm not yet certain we can go. Mrs. Moddy, unfortunately, is not making too much progress and a new problem unrelated to her accident has developed.

If I don't go, I'm offering up my tickets free to any member who doesn't have any or decides to go late in the game. I expect to have an answer by Wednesday on our availability but I am not optimistic.
