Some concerns addressed

A few questions that have come up re: the new management.

    1) Anonymity. Will it still be respected the way it always has been?
    2) Will new management snoop on IP addresses?
    3) PMs. A lot of stuff -- some sensitive -- gets shuttled via PM by some people on here. Will management snoop on them?

    Answers:

    1) Anonymity is still first and foremost here. The new team has nothing to gain by outing people, and a privacy policy, for those who need to protect their identity, is still in place. The moderators take it very seriously too and will be quick to act if anyone tries to out someone against their intentions.
    2) Management has always had the ability to see IP addresses, but it has never been an issue in the past, and will continue to be a non-issue -- except in the case of bots coming on here to spam or anyone coming on just to cause trouble. And then only for the purpose of blocking their access to the board, not to blast their IP address to anyone. If you are just a regular user, your IP address is safe and the new management assures me that there is nothing they can do with your IP addresses, and even so, they have nothing to gain. It relates back to our anonymity policy and that is not changing.
    3) The new management can't read PMs, and have never had any intention of doing so. Nor can any of the moderators. As always, what flows between people is their business and only their business.

I hope that quells any concerns.
