Whah? I'm pretty certain DyePack has never heard a woman in his life.

He thinks women make the pffft noise you hear when letting air out of something.

 

Nothin' but net.

 

Micro, it always sounded to me like a couple of the miniature cymbols from a tamborine were in a VW engine. That's what I was prepared for when I test-drove a Jetta I ended up buying. Nope, the thing purred like a kitten. Wasn't even a stick.

Fords also had a high-pitched whine, from my great-grandpa's '47 truck to my '93 Escort. Not anymore.

 

The sound of the needle on the stereo connecting with the record and then those few seconds of pops and hisses.

 

HC, GREAT work on that. It's one of those sounds you know instantly as soon as you hear it.
