Looks like a big boy job to me...

JournalismJobs.com - Job Listing - Seeking Sports Columnist

The Houston Chronicle has an opening for an experienced sports columnist not shy to express strong opinions on subjects most important to our audience, including local professional, college and high school sports, the Big 12 and SEC and national issues. It's an exciting time to be a sports columnist in the nation's fourth-largest city. Big events on the horizon include the 2016 Final Four and 2017 Super Bowl.

I'd assume this is Randy's old position.

I can't find this listed anywhere else, including the Houston Chronicle/Hearst site. Is this a public listing?

Anyone ever hear anything on this one? Kind of curious to see who snagged it.

Looks like they're looking for a Texans beat writer.

Chron hired Aaron Wilson from Baltimore Sun to join their Texans coverage.

Brian T. Smith will be a terrific columnist. He's covered the NBA, MLB and the NFL as a beat guy and is a really good writer. Randy Harvey knows what he's doing.
