The New Britain Herald, a daily newspaper in Central Connecticut, is looking for a do-it-all Sports Editor to join and lead its award-winning staff. The right candidate will be able to not only lead our coverage of 11 high schools, a Division I college, two collegiate summer baseball league teams and more, but be able to design the sports section using InDesign and be able to cover games in the field as well. If interested, send your resume, three story clips and layout examples to Senior Managing Editor Brad Carroll at bcarroll@newbritainherald.com

Central Connecticut Communications is a equal oppportunity employer, and does not discriminate on the basis of color, ethnicity, sex, national origin, sexual orientation or religion. We encourage applications from members of minority groups, and especially those that are bilingual (Polish or Spanish).

Better get paid better than what I do and I work 70 hours, lay out and cover games ... sometimes

Sounds like nothing has changed, despite Bob shuffling off this mortal coil to enter his shitty horses at the Aqueduct in the sky...
