    SPORTS EDITOR The Centre Daily Times, owned by The McClatchy Company and located in State College, Pennsylvania (with over 500,000 monthly unique visitors and print circulation average of 17,000 daily and 25,000 Sunday), seeks a multi-media savvy sports editor to lead our four-person sports team. Requirements include a bachelor's degree; at least four years of professional experience covering sports; strong writing, editing and leadership skills; and demonstrated digital publishing expertise. The sports editor oversees balanced and diverse coverage of local, scholastic, college and professional sports, using staff, correspondents, wire services and other sources for our print and online content. Responsibilities also include maintaining daily and weekend budgets, and long-range planning.
