    Central Connecticut Communications, parent company of The Bristol Press and the New Britain Herald, seeks a sports writer to join its award-winning team. We are looking for a dynamic writer who can cover games, write feature stories, contribute stories and video for our websites and design pages with InDesign for our daily newspaper in central Connecticut. The successful candidate will be an innovator and creative thinker across all of our platforms, expected to be pro-active in every facet of the newspaper business.

    We cover high school sports as if it was the pros, a Division I college, Central Connecticut State, an Atlantic League baseball team, the New Britain Bees, the Eastern Regional Little League tournament, the Nutmeg State Games and PGA Tour golf.
