Great hunting and fishins and tons of high school and JC sports to cover.We stress local sports coverage above all else. Mac experience, Quark and Photoshop a must. Salary is based on experience.     It's a beautiful area of you like the outdoors and can handle cold weather.

    People take high-school sports *seriously* up there too.

    What's the expected salary range? Based on experience, of course.

    I don't know for sure, but I'd guess $25k at the top end. That goes a lot further up there than most places, but it still isn't much.

    You have to deal with flooding there too. The lake is rising like crazy.

    Virtually anyplace is better than Williston. Maybe even Roswell.

    Williston has some nice qualities. Sports-crazy town, job security, very low expectations.
     
  11. When I lived in Minneapolis, we used to comfort ourselves in the winter because Devil's Lake was always the coldest place on the weather news TV screen. It might be minus-40 in The Cities but that meant it was minus-60 in DL.
