Sports reporter, Eau Claire (Wisc.) Leader-Telegram

The Eau Claire Leader-Telegram is in search of a full-time sports reporter to help us cover the Chippewa Valley. We are consistently among the top newspapers in Wisconsin and we want someone who can help us maintain that standard.

Eau Claire is home to multiple high schools as well as the University of Wisconsin-Eau Claire. The region we cover includes 40 high schools and two colleges. The position offers the opportunity for a wide range of reporting, from rivalry games to spotlight features.

The Leader-Telegram publishes five days per week and is owned by Adams Publishing Group. You’ll work with a newsroom and editor that want to see you succeed. The position is full-time with benefits. While we’d like to find someone with experience, we’re also open to helping a talented newcomer establish themselves in journalism.
