    SPORTS REPORTER/PAGINATOR Job description: The Progress-Index of Petersburg, Va., a Times-Shamrock-owned 15,000-circulation daily newspaper located less than 30 miles south of Richmond, is looking for a sports reporter covering youth, high school and college athletics in the Tri Cities area. Duties include covering local & region high school sports, as well as writing interesting features and personality profiles on community sports and recreation. We also cover Virginia State University, NASCAR, NHRA and the Petersburg Generals and you will be given an opportunity to be part of that package. A commitment to helping us improve our product in both coverage and design while continuing to develop our Web site is expected. Schedule is flexible but will require nights and weekends.
