    profootballtalk.com (a medium-sized site with a blog)

    basketball:
    insidehoops.com (a big site with a blog)
    truehoop.com (a blog on a big site)

    Yeah, obviously SportsJournalists.com's crowd isn't much into blogs.

    I don't usually go to the blogs myself and I don't rely on sport specific ones. I do frequent www.Orble.com sports blogs because it's an Australian run site and I get to keep up with some stuff in the Australian Rules football league (still hooked from ESPN's early days).
    But there are a few blogs focused on US Sports like sportsdime.com, prosportswrap.com, baseballslate.com, footballdogz.com, and nbaloud.com to name a few.
    I scan these and sometimes find interesting stuff, but mostly these are idiots trying to talk about sports (Some would argue that's what all blogs are). But scanning these blogs makes me appreciate how good some of the people in the print industry are.

    Rob Mosley of the Register-Guard in Eugene, Ore. writes a pretty good blog on Oregon football. Probably one of the best I've read.

    True Hoop is by far the best basketball blog.
