    This one re-posted again.

The Grants Pass Daily Courier seeks an energetic and talented sports reporter to join its award-winning staff in Oregon’s beautiful Rogue Valley. The six-day-a-week daily seeks a reporter who can put some dazzle in the usual high school sports stories, but is still eager to venture outside the “meat and potatoes” articles to cover the outdoors and other lesser known activities. Photography skills are a plus. The Daily Courier is a 16,500-circulation newspaper that’s been owned by the same local family since 1897, so you won’t find a smothering corporation here. You will find a staff that consistently finishes in the top two in awards in the state in its circulation category. Outside work, the Rogue River offers rafting and fishing, and the coast, mountains and fantastic plays and concerts are short drives away. Benefits include a comparable salary, paid vacation, health insurance and profit-sharing. Send cover letter, resume and five clips to tmoore@thedailycourier.com or via U.S. mail to Travis Moore, sports editor, Daily Courier, P.O. Box 1468, Grants Pass, OR 97528. Deadline: Jan. 19.

Never worked there but I know a lot about the area. The whitewater rafting is outstanding.
