Sun Times beat switch

    Does anyone know why the Sun Times decided to move Herb Gould to the Bulls beat? I believe John Jackson, who was covering the Bulls, is now covering Illinois basketball. Strange time for the move.

    If I were a Sun-Times reader, I would be disappointed by a move of the college basketball writer off that beat right on the brink of March and the removal of the Bulls writer heading into the home stretch and playoffs for the NBA season.

    You would think there would be time enough in the summer (including likely NBA lockout) to move the basketball-covering furniture around?
