If you're alive at this point in the season, my hat's off to you. This has been a crazy season already. My work Survivors pool was done by Week 4 or Week 5.

No real strategy other than trying to avoid road teams. I just pick who looks best each week out of the teams I have remaining.

No pick jumps out yet this week.

The "avoid road teams" was my entire strategy, too. (Which, for the record, everyone who got kicked out this week did so b/c of road teams). Agree that no team looks amazing this week. Definitely a "hold my nose, pick, and pray for the best" week. Although I've felt like that the past couple.

I remember several years ago when the I think the Browns beat the Steelers or Ravens in the opener and the Bears won at Lambeau in Week 2 (I think this was Lovie's first year there) that almost everyone was eliminated by Week 2.

I got stupid in Week 2 this season because it seemed like everyone was taking the Packers over the Jets in Week 2 and that matchup scared me. Seattle looked so invinceable in the opener that I took them over SD even though it was a road game. Stupid me.

I've survived a couple close calls - Pittsburgh over Cleveland in Week 1 and New Orleans over Tampa Bay in OT.

In my Loser's Pool, I just escaped with Minnesota losing to Buffalo. I have a few rules, which one I broke with Buffalo. Never pick my team (Bills) or division games on the road. I hope I'm not jinxing myself by posting, but the pool is around 3K and there's about 53 left before this past week's games. I'm hoping a few picked the Rams to lose.
As for this week, Rams at KC seems appealing, but Washington at Dallas will probably be the majority of picks I feel. But, division game, one I may avoid pending how the QB situation shakes out not that it could mean much.

Well, MTM, looks like we either both advance or both fall. Takes a little bit of excitement out of the week.

Lame that we're co-winners. Thought it might be like the spelling be where we'd keep going until one of us got it right. Sigh. Good show, ol chap!
