There is a theory going around in my "Survivor" group that Russell loses again because he was so pissed off at the last Reunion show, which was taped after this (we think).

I guess I'd be pissed too if I lost 2 in a row.

I think we see a repeat winner.

That was my impression, too. I think he crapped out of All-Stars and thought, "Oh well, at least I still get to go collect the million from my season." Then he realized he was coming out of the whole thing with nothing (not nothing, but no millions).

I don't think I'd feel too badly for Russell if he walks away with $200K for two shows. He should have at least one win for his two showings and I hope he wins.

My money is on Sandra though.

    Sandra over Parvati, 6-3.
Usually, everybody's kumbaya at the reunion, even after a contentious season. But everybody seems pissy at each other.
Russell can't figure out why all the other players hate him. The other players can't figure out why the audience loves him.

Three things: 1) Jerri is so much prettier without makeup. I've never been a fan but she was downright beautiful in the last few episodes considering she had been out in the wilderness for 30-plus days; 2) Parvati looks much, much better with makeup; 3) Russell looked like he was jacked up on coke or something in the reunion show. No focus, couldn't answer a question, was fidgety. He was doing something.

Poor Russell. That he couldn't even pull in votes from JT and Jerri speaks to the ultimate flaw in his strategy. He shouldn't have opened his trap to Parvati about why he would get rid of Jeri, and the way he played JT, and the way JT reacted to it, I'm not sure how you lose that vote.

Sandra isn't as worthless as Natalie was last season. Natalie didn't do a single damn thing besides wake up every day. Sandra at least made a few moves. But a strategy of "get to the next day" shouldn't pay off in this game, no matter how masterfully it's executed. Russell was exactly right in pointing out Sandra's grand strategy in the game, outside "survive" was a total failure.

Rupert is a fraud. From the moment JT's idol plan backfired he knew what a piece of shit Russell was, and he voiced as much at one point during the game. But, when Russell cracked the door for him a few days later, he was humping Russell's leg like he was getting paid for it. Then, at the end, he comes back around and is all "You're an entirely worthless asshole" again.

Parvati should have won. Russell really should have won, but playing the jury is 10 percent of the game and Russell completely and utterly fails at it to a point that he'll never win unless he improves that at some point. To his credit, he never got a chance to watch his last season, so maybe he just didn't know how deficient he was in that area.

    Tyson looks like an idiot.

JT is awesome. Definitely one of my favorite players ever.

for those who think amanda is so beautiful, she wasn't even top 5 at the reunion show. in fact, she was kinda scary.

And JT's move was NOT the dumbest in survivor history. It was probably No. 4 on that list. (I'm still watching, btw.)

Erik's move was so, so, so much stupider. As was Tyson's. Neither of those people have any explanation for their move that makes any sort of sense. Hell, even James made a little sense. I think when he got voted out he had three chances left to use his two idols.

JT's move was the only one of the bunch that was forward looking in any reasonable way, no matter how poorly it turned out.

Oh, and agreed on Amanda. She looks terrible. I've never loved her in the first place, but she's worse than that tonight.

    Stephanie is smoking. Wow.

And an interesting comment about "I'm one of about three people here that doesn't hang out with everyone else." ... Who else is such good friends? I have a hard time seeing some of those people being overly tight anywhere but survivor.

    ...

I can definitely see there being a Survivor clique. I just have a hard time seeing someone like JT or Coach or Russell or Sandra or Randy or Tyson fitting into it. Maybe I'm wrong, though.

He just wanted to kick somebody's ass. I think Rob wanted to kick his too. Check on the CBS morning show for any bruises from the fight that might've happened. Rupert might have gotten into it with him too. Did you see the self-righteous look on his face when Russell, again, won the fan favorite. Hey Rupert, go do what you should have done with your fame: start a kids show on Nick. You're a superhero in your own mind and your act has worn thin.
