While I love the cast and the three specifically mentioned, this gives me pause:

“It’s believed that Jason Sudeikis is involved in the revival in some capacity as an executive producer.”

Not really Ted Lasso without Ted Lasso. It’s early so the reporting could just be being careful.

And with track record I’ll give it a watch for sure.

But it could be “After MASH” too. “After Ted” might fall flat.

The last season was a mess in terms of bloated episodes and storylines. Hopefully, Bill Lawrence or another strong hand comes back to guide the show. And of course we will watch every episode regardless.

The article I read said Sudeikis was believed to be an EP but they still needed him to sign off on bringing it back. As much as I’d love to see it, no Ted might be a problem and the fact Apple hasn’t given the green light gives me pause. Still, this would be fun if they can pull their heads down from the clouds and give us some grounded episodes again.

I do wonder what Sudekis is going to do as a next career move. He’s so associated with Ted Lasso as a persona that it is hard to see him portraying anything different.
