    A similar thing happened a few months ago at Crosscut, a nonprofit online news site covering Washington state that had several big-time financial backers and was tied to a Seattle PBS station.

    They eliminated five jobs (a lot for them) in May as they decided on a "newsroom restructuring" that would stress video and podcasts over longform reporting and photography, both of which they did very well.
