The new sj fantasy league

Questions, comments, insults, etc. This is the place.

Good draft. Had fun. Took a couple chances early that could pay big dividends. Wasn't conservative for a change.

 

I autodrafted for the first four or five rounds, but think I still came out OK. Might have liked a better QB than Derek Carr, but at least I wound up with a couple of top-level guys and a balanced team.

 

You drafted ... liberally?

I literally sent multiple PMs talking about changing to 10 teams 90 minutes before the draft.

 

All the teams look good. Nice to draft in a competitive league.

Why do you hate Carson Palmer?

 

One year in the late 2000s, I think maybe when he was with the Raiders, I had high hopes and wound up drafting him in a couple of leagues. He destroyed my teams by sucking. At some point I changed that as a nickname or something. I thought it was a team name, but it was something with my actual Yahoo profile. I'm not even sure what it was, and so it's stuck for the better part of a decade.

 

So, are we the IAFL?

 

Not only allowed; encouraged. All for dumb and dumb for all.

 

I have high hopes for this. If all goes well and get people wanting the two empty slots next year, I plan to retire on my share of expansion fees.

 

Do you guys have a baseball league? I'm going to need another league next year, since my current league is going to a keeper league, and I don't want to be in a fucking keeper league.

 

We certainly could extend it to baseball.

As for the football league, VB got the highest draft grade.

And in the least surprising development, Circus drafted Joe Mixon.
