Maybe because she didn't want to embarrass the other girls with how good she was.

Man this scene is so wonderful...

"I didn't find the perfect moment because I think today is about just having today. And I think we're one of those couples who'll have a long story when people ask how we found each other. I will see her every now and then, and maybe one year she'll be with somebody and the next year I'll be with somebody and it's gonna take a long time... And then it's perfect. I'm in no rush."

were they allowed to get their diplomas?

Looks like only one of the faculty got the reference, and had a good chuckle about it.

Loved the opening, but I really think they jumped a shark at the end.

  7. I tune in, but I continue to loathe Michael more and more.

I'm actually the opposite of 93devil, thought the opener was dumb but thought the rest was the best episode in a year. Classic Dwight, happless Toby, and Michael back to his old self along with a few interesting setups for the rest of the season.

I thought Andy describing the cheese tray was priceless.

It's odd for me now to watch this show. Practically every major character on this show is a bone fide star and it's just awkward to see them back in their Office roles when you've seen them in movies like the Hangover and 40YOV.

Yeah, I don't see why they're making him into such a mean-spirited person this season. They've done it a couple of times in the past, but I haven't liked him in these first two episodes.

The cheese tray scene was awesome, and Toby/Dwight staking out Darryl was pretty damn funny too.

They just showed the Yankee Swap/Secret Santa episode where Michael got ticked about getting Phyllis' oven mitt for a gift after giving Ryan a $400 iPod despite the $20 limit.

Tonight's episode where Michael claimed to have a handicap after burning his foot on a Foreman Grill is another example. Sometimes, his ego is flat-out unbelievable.
