That 3rd goal had a pick worthy of Charles Oakley.

  2. Bartra not taking that open shot off the pass from a free kick with his left foot was painful to watch.

He deserves every bit of it, if not more. He bit somebody, for gosh sakes.

    This.

Joey Barton, who has a worse history than Suarez, went absolutely fucking insane last year and only got 12. Suarez would be better off at this point leaving England. He certainly will never be given fair treatment by the FA.

Big difference between a late (if reckless) tackle or an elbow thrust out while trying to play a ball and biting an opponent outside of the context of the play.

Barton did way more than commit a reckless tackle. Do you even know what I'm referring to? Or do you not watch any non-ManYoo matches?

I only watched that match to see the two goals at the end, but I saw the replays. He went nuts after the red card and got one of the longest bans (other than drug test related) in the history of English soocer.

It's the second time in three years that Suarez has bit a player. Banning him for the rest of this year would have been pointless as the matches mean nothing for Liverpool, so it needed to be tougher than 4 games. 7-12 would have been the zone of acceptable punishment for me.

The other incident was in Holland. I have no idea how the FA can take that into consideration. Might as well punish him for the World Cup handball, too.

He's also got previous with biting, and previous with the FA. Yes, he's getting a harsher punishment because he's Luis Suarez. As well he should.

Leg-breaking tackles can end careers, for sure. But theoretically speaking, so can biting. You don't know where Luis Suarez has been. Luis Suarez probably doesn't know where Luis Suarez has been.

His previous FA incident was verbal. He has no history of violence in English football. I would have been fine with 6-8 matches. Ten is unduly punitive.
